What is Food Science anyway?

If you see it on the grocery shelf, a Food Scientist was involved. Call it a Food Technologist or a "food nerd", but it doesn't get much better than getting paid to eat your own science experiment. Come be a part of developing new products anywhere along the path from the farm to the kitchen table.

Discovery Education, the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT), and the IFT Foundation have partnered to develop a unique program, designed to introduce high school students, teachers, counselors, and parents to the remarkable world of food science and technology, and the exciting career opportunities in the field.
